I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
I have books that draw me from the first look at the cover, and this was the case. I signed up for a review with Silver Dagger Scriptorium blog, and started reading. This book made me forget all the other things I had to do, and I couldn’t put it down. I think I didn’t even flinched until it was over, that’s how good it was. The story itself it’s perfectly authentic, and it has a pull on you, like no other. Glad I had a chance to read something new, something of one of a kind.
Evelyn is a young woman that has gone through a lot in her life. Even if things weren’t very good, she is a determined and tenacious women. She gets a new job as a brewery saleswoman, and there she meets Austin. This is a man she dislikes from the start because she is certain this a man who thinks he deserves it all without any hard work. But, like usually, opposite attracts. Austin, though is very attracted to her.
After some time, they get to know each other, and Austin really likes her. But, the problem is Austin has a best friend named Rose. He cares deeply for Evelyn, but he also wants to share her with Ross. The question is, Evelyn is going to run, or stay and give him a chance?
I loved the emotional roller coaster ride that the story provided. I’m excited about this series and cannot wait to read more of it. The problem is, it left me with a bunch of unanswered questions, and now I cannot wait for the next book. I hope I don’t have to wait long for the answers. Thank you for the chance to read it and discover a new favorite author.
